Renovation work on the façade to the World Trace Center in Rotterdam has recently started. BiermanHenket produced the master plan for the integral renovation and sustainability project of the listed WTC complex from 1940, designed by architect J.F. Staal. The plan will be further detailed and executed in stages. The renovation of the listed façades is one of the subplans and will involve renewing the aluminium façades, cleaning the natural stone and replacing the glass.

The façade, the characteristic bell tower and the slate roof: last year saw an enormous amount of work being carried out on the listed town hall of Gennep in Limburg, dating from 1612. The work has now been completed and the scaffolding has been removed.

The laying of the first tile for the newbuild of the eighty-nine sheltered apartments in Kaatsheuvel was celebrated in November together with residents, staff and construction personnel. The outlines of the plan, carefully integrated into the village, are clearly visible now. The recently renovated chapel is in full use and is already acting as the heart of the renovated site.
