Since March 2023, BiermanHenket has had a second office location in 's-Hertogenbosch, near the central station. As an architectural firm with sustainability as one of our important strategic pillars, we have applied this as a main theme when designing our own interior. We believe in a future where circular and biobased construction is the starting point. Reuse and upcycling as a basis for a No Waste interior.

Due to the growth of the team, the agency needed more space. We challenged Gielissen to design the new location completely circular. They work with sustainable materials as much as possible, and have their own 'harvest hall' where already used materials are stored and converted into new sustainable interiors.

With a sketch by BiermanHenket and a tour of the harvest hall, Gielissen quickly made use of the available materials. Everything was produced, delivered and installed by BiermanHenket's own team within three weeks. All parts are flexible and demountable. This way they can always be reused.

The walls on Maaslandstraat are covered with various acoustic panels, taken from various transformed offices. The parts of the sofa and the fabric for the matching cushions also come from these offices. The office furniture is made of oak veneer residual panels. The floorboards come from the stand construction. This basic furnishing is supplemented with second-hand furniture such as chairs, stools, cupboards, coat rack and all crockery.

The office on Maaslandstraat is centrally located, has 6 workplaces and a meeting facility.
